This larger style bathroom nestled in a leafy Newton Mearns estate presented a fantastic opportunity to showcase and utilise some niche products that too often are simply oversized for more typical designs.
In this design the winged large 1200mm curved wall-hung vanity unit from Woodstock Calypso with slimline resin fine-edge basin was considered the centre-piece with a large elongated mirror and matching make-up mirror to complement the look.
To match the softness of the wall and floor finishes, the client was keen to select a similar brushed nickel finish for all brassware and accessories – all provided from Vado’s Individual range. Whilst a challenge, this was carried all the way through with the more delicate items such as the radiator, bath filler, basin waste kit and the WC flush plate.
To match the softness of the Basin and shower enclosure, the bath was to be functional, space efficient and free of sharp exposed corners so we opted for a Carron 1700mm with softened corner – just perfect (and thankfully our client agreed!).
